Player support and community management at launch

The challenge

The indie launch went better than anyone planned, and that was the problem. Player support tickets exploded overnight, far beyond what a tiny team could answer, and the same questions ("how do I fix this crash?", "where's my save?", "how does crafting work?") arrived thousands of times.

The community Discord lit up at the same time, with players helping or misinforming each other while the team scrambled. Slow or missing support during a launch window is exactly when refunds and bad reviews land.

Hiring and training a support team mid-launch was impossible on the timeline that mattered.

The solution

An AI player-support and community agent absorbed the launch spike without the team drowning:

The small team survived its own success: players got instant help, the Discord stayed healthy, and refund-triggering silence never set in.
