Connect Claude or Codex to MyChatBot and hand over a content brief. Generation bills your account balance, you review before billed work, and the content area itself posts nothing.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard that lets an AI assistant such as Claude or Codex use another product’s tools. MyChatBot exposes several MCP servers, called surfaces. The one for content is UGC, and its content area generates media.
The Content Factory and the Creative studio skills are used by chatting with an agent in the MyChatBot app. The docs do not say they are exposed as MCP tools, so this page keeps them apart.
https://api.mychatbot.app/api/mcp/ugc?domain=content with an access key from Agents → Tasks → Connect Claude or Codex. The MCP overview has the steps. The docs describe a built-in Weekly content plan routine, run by the Content Director agent: a 7-day posting plan with the format, topic, hook and a paste-ready caption for each day. A routine is a saved multi-step workflow that runs inside MyChatBot. This one produces a plan; the docs do not say it posts.
The docs describe no content-plan tool in the content area. Through the Agents surface, Claude or Codex can help author your own routine whose steps name built-in agents such as the Content Director or the Content Factory. Schedules created over MCP start disabled and you enable them as a separate, approved step; the Agents surface cannot start a live run, so run it once in the app first. A started routine does not pause for approval, so begin with one that only writes the plan.
content area: without domain the assistant sees every UGC tool, posting and ads included. The in-app Content Factory documents these typical costs at default quality (mid-2026): a draft-quality photo about $0.05, a video ad about $1.25, a reels pack about $4, a voiceover about $0.07 per 30 seconds. They are not MCP prices: the docs do not tie costs to individual MCP tools, and the agent states the exact price of a job.
This page is about connecting Claude or Codex to MyChatBot. The opposite direction, a MyChatBot agent using an external MCP server, is in the MCP integration guide. In-app details: Content Factory and Creative studio.
For the UGC content area the docs set one gate: a positive account balance, with no particular plan required. The in-app Content Factory is documented for any plan that includes an agents budget; on a trial account that budget is about $1, enough for a handful of images but not a quality video. Posting and post analytics are different and need a paid social plan.
Generation bills your MyChatBot account balance, as the docs state. For the in-app Content Factory the docs give typical costs at default quality: a draft-quality photo about $0.05, a video ad about $1.25 and a reels pack about $4. The agent states the exact price of a job, and the docs give no per-tool price list for MCP.
Not from the content area, whose documented jobs are generating media, polling media tasks and text-to-speech. Posting is a separate capability that needs a paid social plan and a separate publication approval; the in-app Reels Factory skill can also queue generated reels for scheduled publishing to your connected accounts. The list of supported networks is not published, so check in the app. See MCP for publishing.
In the app, only for bigger jobs: a single image or clip runs straight away with a one-line price note, and a higher-quality video or a big batch shows a breakdown and waits for your approval. The Reels Factory shows its plan and total price first. Over MCP, keep your client’s approval prompts on and ask the assistant to list the planned generations before it starts. Once you approve a batch, the whole batch runs.
The docs do not name any, so this page promises none. For the MCP content tools they also publish no output formats, resolutions or clip lengths. Start with one small request and see what your account returns.
Create your account, connect Claude or Codex and try a single image before you plan a batch.
