Async is the default
We default to async. Most decisions happen in writing, long-form Slack threads, Notion docs, GitHub PRs. Real-time meetings exist but we keep them rare and short.
This forces clarity. You can't write a sloppy decision document and have it survive review. Writing as the default raises the floor on everyone's thinking.
Deep work as a right, not a privilege
Engineers and designers can block half a day for deep work without explaining themselves. Notifications get muted. We measure output, not visibility.
Quarterly real-life meetups
We meet in person every quarter, Kyiv, Lviv or somewhere new. Three days of focused work, dinners, a half-day off. The trust that builds in three days powers the next three months of remote work.
