Why plan a month at a time
Posting day by day without a plan tends to repeat the same topics and formats. Planning a month ahead lets you spread formats, topics and hooks across the calendar and prepare visuals in batches.
This guide uses the built-in content agents to draft the plan, write captions, generate visuals and schedule the recurring part.
What you need before you start
- A plan that includes an agents budget. Content generation is billed from the same agents wallet as your other agent runs. See pricing.
- The built-in agents under Agents: Content Director (coordinates a Content Team), Bulk Text Worker (captions, hooks and variants at scale) and Content Factory (images, video and music).
- Your brand facts: website, product catalog, FAQ or brand docs.
Build the plan step by step
- Give the agents your brand context. Add sources once on the Knowledge sources page, then open each agent you use, go to Settings and turn on Business knowledge (it is off by default). Your product and FAQ knowledge bases can be added too.
- Plan the first week. Open Content Director, go to the Tasks tab, then Routines, and expand What this routine does on Weekly content plan. Press Run, then press Run again in the routine conversation to start it. You get a 7-day posting plan with the format, topic, hook and a paste-ready caption for each day.
- Plan the rest of the month. Run the routine again for each following week. Before pressing Run, type the week and its focus in the Add instructions for the next run… box. All runs stay in one routine conversation. For a single request, describe the month to Content Director in chat, for example ‘plan next month: 30 captions and a set of hero images’. It hands copy to Bulk Text Worker and visuals to Content Factory.
- Produce the visuals. Open Content Factory and type a brief or click a quick-start: hero image, Meta ad A/B batch, 9:16 story, UGC talking-head reel, image-to-video. Name the subject, setting, lighting, mood and aspect ratio. For reels, ask for a Reels Factory pack: three vertical reels with different hooks, a caption for each and optional music.
- Schedule the repeating part. With Schedule & delegate on (it is on by default for Content Factory), tell the agent in chat what to do and when, for example ‘every Monday at 9:00, generate a fresh set of ad variants’. Confirm it on the Tasks page in the Scheduled view, and track spend on the Usage page.
Options that matter
- Aspect ratio. 1:1 for the feed, 9:16 for stories and reels, 16:9 for wide placements.
- Which routine. Weekly content plan only drafts a plan. Content pipeline also publishes a live page without asking.
- Cost confirmation. A single image or fast video runs right away. For a higher-quality video or a big batch, the agent shows an estimate and waits for ‘proceed’. A started run cannot be stopped midway, so read the estimate first.
- Publishing. Auto-posting to social accounts is available on Multipro or Corporate, or UGC Starter and above, and is not included in a free trial.
Common problems and fixes
- Results look generic. Add subject, setting, light, mood and aspect ratio.
- An edit returns a new image. Ask explicitly to edit the image and keep everything else.
- A video seems stuck. Renders take about two minutes. If the chat stays quiet, send any short message to pull in the result.
- No budget for video. During the 3-day trial the agents budget is about $1, not enough for one quality video. Convert to a paid plan first.
- A scheduled run did nothing. With an empty wallet the run posts a skip note and waits for next time.
- A schedule is missing from the Tasks page. It lists only enabled schedules; paused ones stay on the agent’s own Tasks tab. Give each schedule a unique name and its own conversation.
